Intimate City Garden

In general, I try to avoid diagonal lines, but in this case, they do the perfect trick: they create the illusion of a wider garden. From both terraces and windows, the garden’s lines lead toward a larger open space around the corner, sparking curiosity and giving the impression that the garden is larger than it truly is.

This design creates a cozy space for late dinner parties while also serving as a green display when viewed from inside the house. The garden is quite narrow and has an unusual angle. By orienting both terraces in the same direction and using the same material for paving throughout the garden, the spaces unify, making the garden feel more harmonious and calm.

The wall opposite the house is very old, with an ancient foundation visible, making it a cool feature to incorporate into the design.

The planting will primarily consist of mixed tropical lush greens like monsteras climbing up the wall, with the occasional flower here and there.

Garden hasn’t been build yet.
