A Garden in Different Themes

The entrance area of the house features drought-tolerant, natural mixed planting. In contrast, the area around the pool in the back has a more classic yet eclectic tropical garden vibe.

The former garden had become tired: some shrubs had grown too tall, creating large gaps, and there was little variety left. Creeping rosemary had taken over most of the borders, making it clear that a structural intervention was needed. The owner desired a more natural planting design—less reliant on water, flowering throughout the season, with grasses and more diversity.

A charming path was also added, allowing to wander and discover the garden, with steps and stones carefully chosen to match the color of the house. The overall concept was to introduce color and variety using plants that naturally thrive in the dry Mediterranean climate.
