Although only a small strip of land was available arround the pool, we still decided to use it to create a green border and hedge, to replace the overall austere feeling of the dropping terrain.

The pool is redone in a soft green blue color. The plastic deck is replaced by natural stone. The dominant hedge (4m! in diameter) is  removed and the terrain is  raised using a retaining wall to create a more level terrain. The purpose of this is to have more a sense of space and a surrounding garden. This newly created border is being planted with a colorfull shrub and lower plants palette. The aim is to add a green interesting planting arround the pool, while maintaining the functionality of a hedge.
