Den Haag – Kortenbos
School garden.
Educational city garden which I headed and where I taught for 15 years. Aside from teaching schoolchildren about agriculture and nature, we maintained a lush, colorful garden of 5 ha for the neighborhood. Here I have been experimenting and learning for 15 years about plant combinations, growing conditions vegetables, displays of annuals, perennial borders, shrubs and greenhouse cultivation. Kortenbos was a beautiful sanctuary downtown the city of The Hague.
